Hope was born into a loving family of her parents and older sister. During pregnancy, the family learned that she had Down Syndrome. They welcomed her into this world knowing God has His best plan for her.
The first ten years of journey were rather difficult. Hope was not able to speak much and, coupled with her strong personality, she exhibited many forms of defiance and misbehaviour to communicate. With a lot of prayer and support from family, church, and friends, the family pulled through those difficult years together.
Shortly before the pandemic started, Hope’s language development started to show more improvement. Her other areas of development also flourished. During the year of staying home, she helped her sister prepare care packages for community workers, neighbours, and friends. She liked to contribute and participate in these projects and shared her love with people.
This is how the “Hope4hope321” idea was born. All money raised is donated to Hope and Healing International for children with disabilities.
The current project goal is $2000 to help 10 children to receive cataract surgery.
